The boys bowling team finished in second and the girls took first on Thursday at Bowlero Apopka against Evans, Olympia, and Windermere.
With a score of 2234, the boys knocked off Evans (1404) and Windermere (2172), narrowly bested by Olympia (2807). The high bowler was freshman sensation and summer league champion Richard Caruso with a total of 633, with team leadership provided by junior Aaron Childers.
The girls posted a 1619 team score under the leadership of team captain Megan O'Leary to topple Windermere (1600), Olympia (1425), and Evans (979).
The bowling team's next competition is Wednesday, October 16 at Boardwalk Bowl vs. Colonial, East River, and University Orlando.
